Statewide Safe Harbor Bill Passed – New protections for trafficking survivors under age 18 now ensure they are treated as victims, not offenders
Victim Services Expansion Act – We advocated for and supported legislation that increased funding for trauma recovery and housing services for survivors.
Survivor Confidentiality Law – New laws allow survivors to remove personal information from public records to prevent re-traumatization and stalking.
Anti-Trafficking Transportation Law – Requires public transit agencies and airports to display human trafficking awareness signage and hotline info.
Recent Partnerships
Partnered with Local Law Enforcement Task Forces to provide emergency response and on-site survivor advocacy.
Collaborated with Hope Haven Legal Aid Network to deliver legal support for expungement, custody, and immigration cases.
Joined forces with Safe Steps Shelter Network to expand transitional housing availability across three counties.
Launched a Prevention & Empowerment Coalition with schools and faith-based groups to train over 800 professionals and youth.
